How To Customize Quick Access Toolbar In Windows 8
Quick Access Toolbar is the one of the things that will draw your attention in Windows 8 , whether its Developer Preview , Consumer Preview or most recent Release Preview.Some people will who loved Windows 7 may not like this quick access toolbar.Frankly speaking when i first installed developer preview quick access toolbar also looks bad for me, but day by day when i adopt to use its its makes my works easy.Many things from undo to redo and rename a file by just one click.You can do lot more using this toolbar by editing or customizing according to you.
Now i am going to tell how to customize quick access toolbar,
First go to your My Computer

Now you can add item or customize your quick access toolbar in Windows 8 by just selecting.you can minimize the ribbon by just selecting minimize ribbon.
This are the basic that you can add or remove item from quick access toolbar,but you can add other item that are not listed here.Suppose you want to add command prompt or optimize in quick access toolbar then you have to like this
For adding command prompt or cmd in quick access toolbar
Now click on File
Then Right click on Open command prompt and select Add to quick toolbar
By this same way you can add other item that you want to show in your windows 8 quick access toolbar.
If you don’t like some item or want to remove then just right click on that on item and select remove from quick access toolbar.
From all of these item i really like undo, redo ,rename and the best thing in windows 8 , its invert selection.Just go to any folder the click on Home then add invert selection in quick access toolbar like above method , so whenever you need to select some file inversely just click on it from quick access toolbar.Is it not awesome things.I think you surely love invert select method in Windows 8.So customize your quick access toolbar to make your experience better in windows 8.
