Only Windows 8 Has More Desktop OS Market Share Than Mac OS X [Report August 2013]
If you ask a Windows OS users which OS is he/she using then you will find that either he is using WIndows XP or WIndows 7 as both are awesome product made by Microsoft. After WIndows 8 launched some people like it. And those people not shifted to Windows 8 they may be still in love with Windows XP or Windows 7. But what is matter that Windows 8 is growing its position in desktop OS market share. We all know that Windows has a largest desktop or PC OS market share still now. And the no is too high respect to other OS.
The August 2013 report of desktop OS market share says that the Windows has 91.19% market share whether Linux and Mac has 1.52% and 7.28% market share respectively. Tough Windows lose some market share but its still leading desktop OS.

Though Windows loses a little bit market share but WIndows 8 is growing and it beats Mac OS market share. The Net Market share report of August 2013 says only Windows 8 has much desktop OS market share than Apple’s Mac OS X.
So we can see that Windows 7 has 45.63% and Windows XP has 33.66% desktop OS market share. Where Windows vista and Windows 8 has 4.11% and 7.41% respectively. So where Mac OS has a 7.28 % market share , only Windows 8 has a 7.41 % market share. Mean Windows 8 beat Mac OS by 0.13%.
May be Windows 8 will not be as popular as Windows 7 or Windows xp but still has potential to take the place of Windows XP. But we will be looking forward for Windows 10.
