How To Set Up Or Add Gmail, Yahoo! & Outlook In Windows 8 Mail App

In the era of apps Windows 8 Metro apps makes your life simple to use a Windows 8 PC or a Windows 8 tablet.  Apps makes to do things easily like if you need to check your mail then why should you need to open your browser when you can do it by just using your apps. Android and is platform makes people use apps and Windows 8 is not behind in this race. Windows 8 Metro apps are just looking great and easy to use.  And like iOS and Android Windows 8 also provide you access your mail just by an app not opening your browser.

In this post I will guide you how to configure your Windows 8 Mail apps such that you can access your Gmail , Yahoo mail or Outlook mail.  And you can add multiple account mean you can access Gmail, Yahoo Mail or Outlook Mail from a single platform. 

Step 1: Open Your Mail app in Windows 8 from the start screen.
Step 2: Log in via a Live or Hotmail account.
Step 3: Now move your mouse cursor to the right-down corner of your screen so that you get a pop up like this then click on Settings.


Step 4: Now click on Accounts [You can directly pull this option by pressing Win Key+I  from Mail App]


Step 5: Then click on Add accounts.


Step 6: Choose the account you want to add like Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo! Mail.


Step 7: Provide proper login information and hit connect.


Now it’s done , now you can access your Gmail, Yahoo! Mail or Outlook Mail or any other mail from this mail app in Windows 8. So you don’t need to open browser to read mail. Happy mailing !!
