What is the difference between Windows 10 Home, Pro and Enterprise

Recently, one of my friend upgraded his Windows 7 PC to Windows 10 Pro, I asked him how he gets Pro being a Windows 7 Home Premium user like me. He told me that he tried free anytime upgrade for Windows 7 to upgrade his Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate then he upgraded it to Windows 10 and gets Windows 10 Pro. May be I was in a hurry that I missed my own trick or noticed that Windows 7 Home Premium users will get Windows 10 Home. Bad luck for me. But that really makes any difference, like I have Windows 10 Home and he has Windows 10 Pro. What is the difference between Windows 10 Home, Pro and Enterprise?

I searched on the internet and get this –

If you look closer between Windows 10 Home and Pro there is no such big difference. Like Windows 10 Pro has BitLocker facility, but a normal PC user hardly uses it. Second one is it has remote access service, but you can do it using third party software team viewer. The thing I will miss is Windows Update for Business but it does not make any sense what kind of business update they are talking about though currently disabled Windows Update on my Windows 10 Home as I am on roaming (Limited Data).

So if you are a normal user then there is no such big difference between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro. Just the Pro name gives you a mental satisfaction that you have a higher version. If you are using Windows 10 for office or business purpose, then you need to buy Windows 10 Enterprise as its not available by upgrade method. Hope you have a clear idea about the difference between Windows 10 Home, Pro and Enterprise. For anything else, make comments here. 🙂
