But on facebook, there is no way to cancel or delete sent a message. But recently a researcher Roman Zaikin from cyber security firm Check Point has found a vulnerability that allows him to delete sent facebook message even it can be modified. This is a big security flaw in Facebook. Mean today you got some message and next day sender change the message or even delete the message.

“By exploiting this vulnerability, cyber criminals could change a whole chat thread without the victim realizing,” said Oded Vanunu, Head of Products Vulnerability Research at Check Point.
“What’s worse. The hacker could implement automation techniques to continually outsmart security measures for long-term chat alterations. We applaud Facebook for such a rapid response and putting security first for their users.”
But the best part is Facebook has fixed this issue as per their blog published on 7th June. So you are now safe from any Facebook message scam.
