How I Upgraded My Windows 10 Home to Pro at ₹220 Rupees

If you ask me which computer or PC I am using then I will say that I have a SONY VAIO laptop which I have been using since late 2010. Out of the box, it comes with Windows 7 Home Premium which later I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate with the free anytime upgrade key for Windows 7. Later the game changes and I always updated my Windows time by time whether its Windows 8 Developer Preview or the final version. As My laptop came with pre-installed Genuine Windows 7, so I was able to get genuine the Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 upgrade.

But before the release of Windows 10 I was not satisfied with Windows 8.1 so I switched to Windows 7 Home Premium and this time free anytime Windows 7 Upgrade key doesn’t work mean unable to make my Windows 7 Ultimate genuine after upgrade process as I had downloaded the Windows 7 Home Premium ISO file from Microsoft site, not the SONY Recovery DVD.

So I had to compromise with Windows 7 Home Premium, and I was somehow satisfied as SONY Recovery Windows 7 comes with lots of unnecessary software.

As soon as Microsoft released Windows 10 I upgraded my Windows 7 Home Premium and I got Windows 10 Home as not the Windows 10 Pro as I was using Windows 7 Home Premium neither the Professional nor Ultimate version.

This does not bother me as I get free genuine Windows 10 Home. Later I linked this activation with my Microsoft account as if I don’t need the activation key to activate which could be done with the Microsoft account.

Till this, I was happy though somehow I was seeking for Windows 10 Pro and now I am using Windows 10 Pro. I have upgraded my Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro as just ₹220 which is around $3.39 or GBP 2.49. But how I make this?

On internet, if you search for a genuine key of Windows 10 Pro then you will land on some fake site or some selling site. But these selling offers you at a lower price than market price but I had doubt and still, I have about this site. But recently I got an eBay (UK site) seller who is offering Windows 10 Pro key at just GBP 2.49.

I was a little bit of confusing whether fake or genuine but the seller profile was positive so I purchased without any hesitation using my PayPal account, Yes you need a PayPal account to purchase.

If You don’t have PayPal account then make one and link your credit card or debit card. Not all the debit card works with PayPal but my SBI Platinum debit card works fine with PayPal. I checked that GBP 2.49 or ₹219.90  has been debited from my SBI account.

Once I had purchased I received a mail from seller with the product key of Windows 10 Pro. You will not get any physical CD or something with the key. And then next job was quite easy to upgrade my Windows 10 Home to Pro.

I followed these step by step to upgrade…..

  1. Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Update & security  > Activation.
  2. Select Change product key, and then enter the 25-character Windows 10 Pro product key.
  3. Select Next to start the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

The up-gradation process takes 10-20 minutes and you don’t need to take any file backup. Once this process completed I checked my System Properties and it shows Windows 10 Pro

This is not just upgrading key, if you are using Windows 10 Pro trial version or cracked version then I would suggest to buy this key at this unbelievable price and make your Windows 10 Pro genuine. If you are still using Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 then it’s the best time to upgrade to Windows 10. Not only getting at a low price but it will save your PC from that ransomeware.

You may find that price is changed so do hurry and you will get some other seller offering same deal at a lower price so you can also purchase from them but do a research about the seller profile before purchasing. That’s all!

P.S- Recently I have also purchased Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Keys from eBay UK and its working fine for me.
