Fix-Searching in Google Chrome incognito language changes to regional language
We all love Google Chrome as it makes our browsing smooth and all that sync is very handy here. Though all new Microsoft’s Edge browser powered by Chromium web engine is promising. Google Chrome has a private browsing mode name Incognito mode and most of the people know it pretty well. Sometimes we really need to access the web through incognito mode. You just open the Google Chrome incognito mode and search something or opens any Google product like Google drive or Gmail and you have realized that Google search results appear in your regional language in spite of English.
For me, the Google search results come in the Bengali language whenever I searched through incognito mode. Not only Google search results, if I had open YouTube without logging in then YouTube opens in the Bengali language. Then I had to scroll drown and change the language from Bengali to English.
I was really frustrated with that language changes to Bengali as my regional language is Bengali in Google Chrome incognito mode. In a normal tab, it opens fine in English but while in Incognito tab the language change to the regional language, Bengali in my case. It may be Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Telegu etc for your case.
This is something that very annoying. Finally, I have come across a solution to fix this problem-automatically language changes to the regional language in Google Chrome incognito mode.
here is the in detail step by step method to fix this
- Open Google Chrome
- Click on the three dots on the right-upper corner of Google Chrome and click Settings
- Scroll down and click on Advanced
- Scroll down and Tap on Language drop-down menu
- It will show your regional language- for me here Bengali
- Click on the three dots of your regional language
- Now tap on Remove to remove the regional language
- Tap on relaunch or close the Google Chrome and open it again.
- Now search something on incognito mode. The Google search result will not appear in the regional language again.
This is something that you will not find on the internet and it will fix your problem. Now Google chrome would not switch to Bengali or any other regional language while accessing the internet through incognito mode.

I am using Android mobile and I am still facing the same issue I have done what you have told but it’s not working, what am I supposed to do
For Firefox:
Power users, go to “about:config” and change the value of “intl.accept_languages” to the custom value “en-us,en,fr-fr”
Regular folks:
Open the Hamburger Menu (three horizontal lines), click on Options, search for “language” in the search bar and click on “Choose…” button on the right side of “Choose your preferred language for displaying pages”.
If you see your local language at the top, move it to the bottom of the list, click OK and restart Firefox.
If you only see English, add your local language or any weird language you can find. [French (France) would be fine, for example.]
Click on the non-English language (like French) and move it to the bottom of the list. English (United States) should be first, followed by English (en) and then the non-English one.
Now click OK and restart Firefox.
Try all the Google services you can think of, like Google Search, YouTube, Google Drive (publicly shared documents), etc. All the interfaces should display in English now.
Leave it at this. Don’t remove French from the language list.
REASON/EXPLANATION: It appears that if Google sees the default language list “en-US, en”, it thinks you expect the local language based on your location and forces it. But when you have changed the language list to include a non-English language BUT de-prioritize it, Google respects your choice.

Sadly You can’t change the regional language in Android phones so it doesn’t work

It doesn’t solve the problem. I have no regional language in the setting and still gets incognito results in Hindi. And guess what I stay in Bangalore.
Do check the setting of google translate, that worked perfectly fine for me.
Under that same language settings page, make sure that the ‘Offer to translate pages in other languages’ option is unchecked. This solved it for me.

Does not work always. In incognito the French language comes up and in settings you can not set the “Google Chrome user interface” to English. Since you can’t do that, the french language options can not be deleted.
