Where people are still using Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, Microsoft is busy with their next version of Windows. Yup, Windows 9 is coming. While Apple confirmed about their Mac OS X Yosemite, Microsoft also confirmed about their next version of Windows OS that they are developing. But they do not disclose any feature of Windows 9 at WPC2014.

But some sources like Neowin says that Windows 9 will came with lots of new features which will make a big difference between Windows 7 and Windows 8.

As Microsoft does not disclose anything about Windows 9 so we have limited info about Windows 9. But still, here are the 5 things you need to know about Windows 9.

1. Release Date of Windows 9:

When we talk about a new OS the first thing came in mind when it will be launched. So if you ask me When Windows 9 will be released then I can only say the expected date. It is expected that Windows 9 will be available in April 2015 release, probably in Build2015 officially unveiled Developers Conference. But some source saying that Windows 9 will be available in October 2015 as Windows 8 was launched in this month.

2. Price of Windows 9:

There are two kinds of rumor about the price of Windows 9. According WZor Windows 9 basic version will be available free of cost to those Windows 8.1 users, but for additional advanced extensions, you have to buy its subscription as like office 365.

Where ZDNet thinks Windows 9 will pursue a free strategy, but does not include the desktop PC market. Such as tablet PCs, smart phones, mobile side, Microsoft will provide Win9 free version, without the consumer to pay a license fee, but Windows 9 the desktop version of the product will remain free of charge.

3. When Windows 9 Preview or beta version will be release?

According WZor sources, it is expected that the Windows 9 Beta version will be released in the second quarter of 2015 Q2, while Windows 9 preview version will be released in the end of 2014.

4. New Start Menu of Windows 9

Microsoft is bringing back its traditional start menu on Windows 9. Which was last seen in Windows 7 after that Windows 8 and 8.1 comes without start menu. But the new start menu of Windows 9 will be a mixture of start menu of Windows 7 + Start screen of Windows 8. You will be able to see Start screen tiles on the Start menu.

5. New features of Windows 9:

Apart from this there are some new features that you will be able to see like-

• Optimized for high DPI display

• Reduce hides UI elements

• More Modern applications / games

• Reduce system size
